There are six higher volume Town Courts in Rensselaer County that cover the speeding and traffic tickets issued by the New York State Police.  Most of these tickets are issued for speeding on the section of I-90 that connects from Albany to the “Berkshire Spur” section of the New York State Thruway towards Massachusetts.
