Court hours: Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Pretrial conferences usually begin at 4 pm on Monday afternoons.

Court information: This Court hears vehicle and traffic matters based on tickets issued by the New York State Police, the local Police Department and Greene County Sheriffs.  The Greene County District Attorney’s Office prosecutes the speeding and traffic tickets that were issued by the New York State Troopers. The Coxsackie Town Court does not accept plea negotiations or reductions by mail. The Court calendar regularly includes minor criminal matters as well as the occasional small claims case.

General information: Coxsackie is pronounced “cook-sock-e” and is located just north of the town of Athens, New York. Like the Village of Athens, the Village of Coxsackie is located on the edge of the Hudson River.  Throughout the village there are many historical homes. The Coxsackie Correctional facility, a maximum security prison, is located a few miles south of the Village of Coxsackie.
