Vehicle and Traffic matters are generally scheduled for weekday mornings at 9 a.m. or in the afternoon at 1:00 p.m. This Court hears vehicle and traffic matters based on tickets issued by the Albany City Police Department, The New York State Police, The State University Police Officers and the Albany County Sheriffs. The City of Albany, Corporation Counsel’s Office prosecutes the speeding and traffic tickets that were issued by the New York State Troopers and the Albany City Police Officers. The State University Police Officers prosecute their own tickets.
